Cloning John Lennon

Scientists are reportedly trying to extract DNA from JOHN LENNON'S tooth . . . so they can CLONE him.  Not that it'll actually happen or anything.

The tooth was recently auctioned off, after being in the possession of Lennon's former housekeeper.  Some dentist named Michael Zuk bought it for $30,000, and it's Zuk who has them doing tests on the tooth.

He says, quote, "If scientists think they can clone mammoths, then John Lennon could be next.  To potentially say I had a small part in bringing back one of rock's greatest stars would be mind-blowing.

"I'm nervous and excited at the possibility that we'll be able to fully sequence [his] DNA, very soon I hope."
