Trinity Lutheran Church Invites Children to “Kingdom Rock” VBS Jul. 21–25

State College, PA — Trinity Lutheran Church will host a week-long summer kids’ camp titled “Kingdom Rock: Where Kids Stand Strong for God”. This Vacation Bible School (VBS) program will be held Sunday, July 21 through Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the evening at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2221 N. Oak Lane, State College (corner of Galen Drive and North Atherton Streets). Kingdom Rock is FREE and open to the public for all children in Pre-Kindergarten through the Sixth grade. All supplies and snacks will be provided. Registration is free and available online at www.TLCSC.org.

At Kingdom Rock, faith and imagination will grow as kids learn how family, friends, prayer, trust in God, and the Bible help us to stand strong. Kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, look for God Sightings, enjoy snacks, experience Bible adventures, and most importantly – they will learn how to stand strong for God.

Kids participating at Kingdom Rock will be collecting food, money, and gift cards for the State College Area Food Bank. Throughout the week, donations of loose change, gift cards, canned goods and dry food goods will be collected. These generous gifts will support families in our own community who are in need.

Each day, Kingdom Rock concludes with the Fanfare Finale—a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join this daily finale when they pick up their kids at 8:15 p.m.

Established in 1966, Trinity Lutheran Church welcomes visitors of all faiths every Sunday for indoor and outdoor worship services all summer long.
