Performing Arts School of Central Pennsylvania annual Spring Gala

Performing Arts School of Central Pennsylvania (PASCP) will perform its annual Spring Gala on Saturday, May 31, 2014 with 2 shows, 3PM & 7PM, at Mt. Nittany Middle School

PASCP’s Spring Gala presents a unique blend of music and choreography, showcasing the talented dancers of PASCP.  Narrated by Kris Allen of WPSU, Act I features an Afternoon in the Nursery and brings to life some of our favorite nursery rhymes such as Mary Had a Little Lamb, Little Boy Blue, Little Miss Muffet, Hickory Dickory Dock, and many more.  This compilation of rhymes and lullabies allows the audience to imagine the interaction, imagination, and relationship of a mother and her child as they play in the nursery.   The end of Act I also includes a collaborative effort with members of Central PA Youth Orchestra as dancers perform to live music, bringing theAfternoon in the Nursery to its conclusion.

Act II of the Spring Gala features excerpt performances from beloved classical ballets, including The Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia, as well as original modern and contemporary works.

Performances are Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Nittany Middle School Tickets will be available at the door.  Tickets are $15/adults and $10/children and students.
