Family Trout Fishing Programs

The PA Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) with the help from several partners are offering 2 different Family Trout Fishing Programs on Saturday, May 17, 2014.  Both programs will be from  12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.  and held at Tombs Flat along Pine Creek, Lycoming County

One program will introduce families to the use of spinning gear to catch trout.  Participants will have the opportunity to use spinners and other lures to catch trout on Pine Creek.  The other program will introduce families to the use of fly fishing gear to catch trout.  Participants in both programs will have the opportunity to catch trout using their new skills. The fishing license requirement is waived for participants age 16 and older.  Children must be six years of age and older to participate and be accompanied by an adult.  Children must accompany adults.  Pre-register by 4p.m. May 12, 2014 is required, as space is limited.  Visit www.gonefishingpa.com  for more information and to register.  For more information on this program contact Amidea Daniel at (814) 359-5127 oradaniel@pa.gov
