Centre Volunteers in Medicine Cycling for Care

Centre County, PA

Early in the morning this coming Saturday, June 29th, 150 bicyclists will hit the roads to support the free medical and dental clinics at Centre Volunteers in Medicine. Cycling for Care riders can choose to ride a Metric Century (62 miles), a Half-Metric Century (31 miles), or an 8-mile loop through picturesque Central PA. All rides begin and end at Fairbrook United Methodist Church, 4201 West Whitehall Road, PA Furnace.

One of the riders cycling for care is 7-year old Penny Bird. Penny says on her fundraising page, “If you help by donating money then children and adults who can not pay to visit the doctor will be able to”. Penny has raised over $225 to support CVIM between her on-line donations and cash and checks.

To support Penny, or other riders, or to sign up to ride yourself go to www.cvim.net and click on Cycling for Care in the Spotlight section.
